Eye tracking,
democratized.
The AdHawk Scanner Module is at the heart of the eye tracking system we've developed. System components include:
- scanner module
- photodetectors
- flex PCB
Licenses for our novel eye tracking algorithms and reference design are included when purchasing the AdHawk Scanner Module. Since the scanner module is almost always used as part of a larger integration project, learn more about how we work with you to investigate the ideal geometry, prototype the integrated hardware, and get things ready for production on our Services page.
Specifications
- 2.5 × 2.5 mm footprint (current generation; next generation coming soon)
- 4 photodetectors per eye
- 0.422 g (scanner and flex PCB)
- 100% 3.3 V compatible making full ASIC integration relatively trivial
- light source drive, sense, and interlocks are 3.3 V compatible
- no high voltage or negative bias signals required simplifying system integration and power conditioning
AdHawk MindLink offers unprecedented speed and data quality in a mobile device, enabling all-day research that connects eye movements with neurological and ocular health, human behavior, and state of mind.
Mindlink can be connected to a computer in a lab or research environment, or to an Android phone (not included) while driving, training, gaming, etc.
Gaze is captured with better than 1 degree of accuracy and sampled at 500 Hz—by far the best available in a mobile eye tracker.

MindLink Air defines a new class of all-day wearable—stylish glasses that deliver actionable insights into eye health and cognitive state using unique and proprietary camera-free eye tracking technology.
Enhance focus, productivity, and mental resilience with the world’s first fitness tracker for the brain.
Frictionless
Your wearable technology should be as easy to ‘use’ as your favorite sweater! With MindLink Air there is a one-time calibration during enrollment. Robust slip compensation takes care of the inevitable movement of the glasses over the course of daily use. And with the low power design of the system, MindLink Air can go 12+ hours between charging.
- one-time calibration
- all-day battery life (12+ hours)
- excellent slip compensation
- works indoors and outdoors
Invisible
Blink and you’ll miss it: There is a tremendous amount of technology packed invisibly into the MindLink Air frames. They’re lightweight, look very much like a normal pair of glasses, and are available in three stylish frames. No one will know you’re wearing smart glasses unless you tell them.
- lightweight (< 40 g)
- three stylish frame options
- invisible technology
- wireless (Bluetooth connectivity)
- camera-free
All-day
With MindLink Air’s ability to invisibly and comfortably capture research-grade eye tracking data all day, insights can be generated against individual baselines established over days, weeks, and months. This means recommendations, data, and insights are tailored specifically to you!
MindLink VR brings AdHawk’s camera-free eye tracking to Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3S VR headsets. This is an ideal platform for the evaluation of eye tracking technology, or as a development platform.
The minimalist rings clip onto the headset eye tubes and contain all the necessary hardware for robust, responsive eye tracking. A USB connection to the rings provides power and allows for eye tracking data to be transferred to applications running on the headset.
MindLink VR runs the latest slip tolerant pipeline, and can be used in tethered or untethered mode. An easy-to-use SDK and documentation are available.
The AdHawk Eye Robot is a 5-axis eye robot that simulates human eye movement to help eye tracker testing and validation. The robot can help with:
- testing of eye tracking glasses
- population testing
- validation of eye tracking performance
Features
- two eyes with rotational degrees of freedom
- automated adjustment of IPD, height, and relief
- realistic light reflection properties in IR
- high speed rotation (> 900 degrees/sec)
- angular resolution of < 0.1 degree steps
- linear stage resolution of 2.5 µm
Details
The robot uses two anatomically correct plastic eyes with realistic infrared (IR) reflective properties. The eyes are mounted to motorized gimbals that provide movement in the pitch and yaw directions. The eyes can be moved independently to converge or ‘focus’ in a point in space.
The gimbals are mounted on two motorized linear stages that can adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD). The eye tracking glasses are mounted to a pair of motorized linear stages that provide the ability to adjust relief and height.
The eyes are surrounded by a flexible nylon fabric that mimics human skin’s reflectivity in IR but does not have the shape of a human face, nor the eyelids and eyelashes of a human.
